1. Who we are
Winmac Technology Services ("Winmac", "we", "us"), a business registered in Jamaica (Reg. No. 13212/2026) with its principal place of business at Chocolate Hole, Junction P.O., St. Elizabeth, operates this website and provides IT services and training. This notice explains what personal data we collect, why, and how long we keep it.
2. Data we collect
When you create an account, book a session, subscribe to the video library, submit an inquiry or make a payment, we collect: your name, email address, phone number, and payment and booking records. We do not store full card numbers — payment details are handled by our payment provider, Paddle.
3. How we use your data
We use your data to provide the services you requested: creating and managing your account, delivering live and on-demand training, processing payments, sending receipts and session confirmations, and responding to inquiries. We may also send occasional service updates; you can opt out at any time.
4. Legal basis
We process your personal data on the basis of the contract we enter into when you purchase a service, our legitimate interests in running the business, and your consent where you provide it (for example, marketing updates).
5. Sharing & processors
We share data only with processors that help us deliver services: our payment provider (Paddle, the merchant of record), our hosting and email infrastructure, and our database provider. These processors are bound by contract to protect your data and process it only on our instructions.
6. International transfers
Because Winmac serves clients internationally, your data may be processed outside Jamaica. We rely on standard contractual clauses and provider safeguards to ensure a comparable level of protection.
7. Data retention
We keep account and booking records for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterwards for tax and record-keeping. Inquiries are kept for up to 24 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
8. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, or a copy of the data we hold. You can also object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any right, contact us through the Contact page.
9. Security
We use row-level database access controls, authenticated access to protected areas, and encrypted payment processing to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, but we work to protect your data using industry-standard measures.
